We’re going out with a bang and ringing in the new year with hotel deals that will help you loose pounds – off the price that is. Next we’re moving into the luxury category for a little splurge as we usher in the new year.  Fairmont Hotels has opened up its Friends and Family rate to the general public through March 31, 2010.  This is truly an amazing deal.  You can enjoy nights for as low as $139 at The Fairmont Washington DC, even on New Year’s Eve.  That represents an additional 20% off their lowest promotional rate.  This rate is not available at all hotels on all dates and frequent flyer mileage accrual is not allowed (although there are several reports from guests that miles are being earned).  Use Promotion Code NFAF.

Last but not least, the Mile High City’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau has come up with a clever promotion – hotel rooms from $52.80 a night.  For a limited time, you can reserve rooms for a mile high price at 30 hotels in and around the Denver area.  Dates and availability vary by hotel, but all exclude New Year’s Eve.
