Cheap Winter Airfare Sales

It seems like nearly every airline has jumped into the game with cheap airfares as part of the New Year’s sales. With tropical destinations from $29 each way, getting away from the cold this winter just got a whole lot easier.

Here are a few of the fare sales currently being offered:

Spirit Airlines is offering one-way fares from $29 to numerous destinations, including the Caribbean. If you’re signed up for their $9 Fare Club, you’ll find fares as low as $9. Book select dates by January 6, 2010 for travel through February 28, 2010.
Jet Blue has also jumped on the bandwagon with fares from $29 one-way (the only $29 fare is FLL-NAS) for travel through March 24, 2010. Most Caribbean destinations from New York are only $99 each way and you can fly from Washington Dulles to San Juan for only $89 each way! Book by January 13, 2010 to take advantage of these discount fares.
AirTran is offering some of the best deals from the Northeast, with one-way fares from just $39 for travel through May 26, 2010. Florida and Caribbean deals, such as the $84 one-way fare from Boston to Cancun, are valid for travel through March 10, 2010. Booking must be completed by January 14, 2010.
Hawaiian Airlines is also getting in the game with one-way fares from San Francisco to Honolulu from $184. These Winter’s Secret Fares are valid for travel through March 11, 2010 for bookings made by January 12, 2010.
Not to be eclipsed by the other airlines, both American Airlines and United Airlines are also running a system-wide fare sale through January 7, 2010 for travel through March 11, 2010. Although, you might have a hard time finding the bargains, it’s worth a look.
